CRDA
is situated in Gampha District of Western Province
of Sri Lanka on a scenic and surrounded by coconut
estates on Negombo - Mirigama Road about 8 kms.
from Negambo. At present, coconut industry and farming
is the main livelihood of villagers around our organization.
The extent of the premises in 4 1/2 acres and is
very close to Katunayeke Free Trade Zone and International
Airport.

Hambantota
|
|
| The town of Hambantota in the South of the island was very hard hit by the Tsunami.
As it was a market day, more than 12.000 people died .
The government decided to build a new town about five miles from the coastline.
CRDA was able to find a suitable place near this newly planned town in Keliyapora – Hambantota for a new project. An orphanage, preschool and a mother and child project..
In the meantime the construction work is finished and the first children have found a new home.
